Three analytical column formats, clear specifications and India-based quotation support.
Highly hydrophilic cyclodextrins and complex derivative distributions can require selectivity beyond conventional reversed-phase approaches.
CD-Screen columns are specialized analytical HPLC columns developed for separation and characterization work involving cyclodextrins. They support method development for parent cyclodextrins, residual underivatized material, degradation-related components and statistically substituted derivatives. Their role is especially relevant when conventional columns do not provide useful retention or selectivity for a particular cyclodextrin system.
The standard CD-Screen products use a (4-nitrophenyl)urea selector on a 4-nitrophenylcarbamidesilyl silica stationary phase. CD-Screen-IEC is the dedicated option for ionic cyclodextrin derivatives, including work involving sulfobutylether-beta-cyclodextrin. Final performance depends on the complete method, instrument, sample and operating conditions.
These product groups are presented separately from CD-Screen columns. Contact Akira Analytical Solutions for availability, grades, pack sizes and quotations.
